Rorion and Royce Gracie are back for Vol. 3 of their Gracie Jiu-Jitsu street self-defense series, and this one opens with punches. Both hands come up together, the arm gets wrapped at the bicep, and before the attacker can swing again, Royce has stepped behind him. From there the options are a takedown, a strike, or a straight armbar.

Then a tackle. Royce doesn't panic. He steps back, braces, and drives a knee straight into the attacker's face as they come in low. Solid base, no wasted motion. The tackle goes nowhere.

The headlock section is the longest and the most detailed. Side headlock, rear headlock, headlock against a wall. Each one gets its own entry, its own footwork, and its own takedown. And if the attacker's base is too wide to step behind, Royce goes under the leg instead.

Then a gun. Rorion is clear: your first move is to block the hand.
